From Mr. Transmission, To Mr. Clint White Very sorry we lost your confidence in repairing your 1975 Plymouth Valiant. When your Plymouth was towed into our shop it would not start and our understanding from information we received from you was it just quit and would not restart. After towing your Plymouth to our shop replacing fouled spark plugs spark plug wires distributor cap rotor button and coil we were able to fire the engine. After fouling your spark plugs which occurs from over fueling resulting in cylinder wash we were in hope the compression would recover with driving. Our intentions were to help you as much as possible with as little cost as possible. Unfortunately some engine never recover and have to be overhauled or rebuilt. If your engine does not recover please remember all items we have replaced will be usable should you decide to overhaul or replace your engine. Thank You Jim Mitchell

I had read quality reviews of this place and plan to keep my vehicle for a long time, so I decided to take my failing/clunking Nissan Altima transmission to Mr. Transmission. I'm glad I did. Jerry made sure that they got it right. Their prices might be slightly higher than other small transmission shops, but the 1 year warranty and confidence that the transmission was fixed by professionals are well worth it. After dissassembling my old transmission, I got the bad news that I need a new one. I expected this news given the clunking I was getting. They offered a rebuilt transmission at a reasonable price. After I get the car back, the transmission still didin't shift quite right. Most Mom and Pop shops would have told me "the car is supposed to shift that way." Not Jerry. He wasn't happy if I wasn't happy. He completely removed the replacement transmission and put in a 3rd transmission. It works beatifully! Thanks Jerry and team! You guys are real pros from a technical perspective as well as from a customer service perspective!

Fixed my car. No surprises.

My wife Joyce and I have move back to our home state of New York. We put our vehicle through New York state auto inspection and it pass. New York state checks everything, brakes, tires, and so on. Thank you all for the works that you done on it. We not on the USA map, but Elmire New York and we are just five miles north of Elmire, Chemung County in which Elmire are the County Seat. We both thank you and have a good year.

Sometimes I take cars and transfer them myself to Mr. Transmission in order to get service done, but at times I have people who want to go directly out there. They ask me about his integrity and all that. I tell them that if they are not satisfied with him, I'll pay for it. I trust them 100%. I have been using Jim since I opened in 1972, and they have moved since then. They were the first transmission shop I used, so I thought everyone would do business like Jim. After they moved I soon found out that not everybody does transmissions equally. When I took work elsewhere I would have to take it back to Jim for him to fix it right. They are honest, do what is necessary to fix the car, and once they fix it you don't have to go back. They fix it right the first time.

I just wanted to take a moment to thank you for your Professional approach and concern with my daughters 2002 Honda Accord. She is very Satisfied with the work you guys did on it and says it runs like a new one. I will certainly recommend your company to all my customers who need work on their transmissions. I rebuild torque converters, so I deal with Mr Transmission Madison on a daily basis, but they have also fixed some of my cars. They fixed the transmission on my 97 Dodge pickup and they also replaced the water pump on my wife's BMW. They do what they say they will do, they get the work done quickly, and their customer service is good. I have been very happy with them.
